Pictures of Dedication of a Japanese Maple Tree and Plaque

in commemoration of the bicentennial of the births of Bahá’u’lláh and the Báb, the Twin Prophet-Founders of the Bahá'í Faith

No man shall attain the shores of the ocean of true understanding except he be detached from all that is in heaven and on earth. Sanctify your souls, O ye peoples of the world, that haply ye may attain that station which God hath destined for you and enter thus the tabernacle which, according to the dispensations of Providence, hath been raised in the firmament of the Bayán1. -Bahá’u’lláh

1 Bayan literally means exposition, speech. Here, Bahá’u’lláh refers to a book by the same name which is the book of laws of the Bábí Faith, revealed by His forerunner, the Báb.
