Foster Care donation drive a Success!

Delivery Day at the Foster Care Office

The Baha’is and their friends in the Salem area recently delivered an amazing collection of needed items to the Marion County Foster Care office. For the last four years the office has shared a list of needed items. This year the request was for microwavable meals and diapers. We invited the wider Salem community to join in the donation drive through ads in the "Salem Reporter" and a donation table at the Salem Public Library. A special thanks to members of the Prince of Peace church for their very generous response! I wish everyone could have seen the happy faces of the Foster Care staff!! Thank you to everyone for your generosity and support to make this happen. It's important that we all step up to care for our community, to bring people together whenever we can.
