October is a busy month for our Baha’i Community!  We have been starting each month with devotions on the first Sunday of the month. However in October, we have an annual Baha’i Convention that falls on the first Sunday of October.  So we have changed the date for our  devotions for October to the day before, Saturday, October 3, still at 11:00 a.m.  Note: Our discussions have been so engaging that we have reserved the room for more time. We have our space from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for more time to share ideas. November will find our devotions back on the first Sunday, November 1st. (Next newsletter will have more about a Baha’i Convention. It is the arena for a unique spiritual process to elect leadership.)

If you haven't joined us before, we hope you will. The participants are comfortable sharing their thoughts on different spiritual texts so we all learn from each other. The devotions have become a Haven of Hope, the atmosphere is such a relief from the divisions and contension prevailing around us.

“Be anxiously concerned with the needs of the age in which you live…” Baha'i Writings

You can join us at the IKE Box Cafe, the Bay Room, 299 Cottage Street NE, Salem.  It will do your heart good.
